Ticketing Policies
PROGRAM CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Programs and artists are subject to change. If an event presented by the Schimmel Center is cancelled or postponed, we will announce the change via email, on the website and posted at the box office. We encourage you to update your Ovationtix account with the most up to date email, so that in the event of any significant changes, we can contact you.
SINGLE TICKET SALES
No refunds, no exchanges. Artists, programs, dates, and prices are subject to change.
DONATE YOUR TICKETS
If you are unable to use your tickets to a Schimmel Center presented event (visiting presentations are listed on the website as such and noted on the event page), we will gratefully accept them as a tax-deductible contribution email Michael at mscotttorbet@pace.edu.
TICKET LIMITS
Please adhere to all published ticket limits. Persons who exceed these limits may have any or all of their ticket order cancelled without notice by the Schimmel Center at its discretion. This includes orders with the same name, email address, billing address or credit card number.
DISCOUNTS
Please note that discounts cannot be combined with any other offer, are subject to availability and prior sale, and are not valid on prior purchases. Discount may be discontinued at any time.
CHILDREN (STUDENT) TICKETS – REGULAR AND FAMILY PROGRAMMING
Schimmel Center requires a ticket for every person attending a performance.
Children 5 years and younger are not allowed in the theatre for some performances.
Parent’s with children 5 and under may purchase a “lap ticket” for $10 if a seat is not available.
CONVENIENCE AND CREDIT CARD FEE
We charge a non-refundable convenience fee (depending on price of the ticket) for each ticket purchased through the Box Office, SchimmelCenter.org (Ovation Tix) or by calling the Ovation Tix hotline. There is no fee charged on ticket purchased in person at the Schimmel Center Box Office.
A 3% credit card fee will be applied to all purchases made with a credit card whether online, by phone or in-person.
UNAUTHORIZED TICKET VENDORS
Tickets bought from unauthorized sources may have been lost, stolen or obtained improperly. Management reserves the right to deny admission to the holder of any such tickets. Any purchases from unauthorized sources are at your own risk.
House Policies
SEATING
Late seating is at the discretion of the House Manager. There are no refunds or exchanges for late arrivals.
FOOD AND DRINK
The House Left Bar is open one hour prior at select events. No food or drink is allowed in the theatre and must be consumed in the Lobby.
ACCESSIBILITY
Schimmel Center offers wheelchair accessible seating as well as assisted listening devices. Additional accessible seating available by calling the Schimmel Center Box Office at 212-346-1715.
Due to temporary construction at Pace University during the 2018-2019 season, ADA access to the building may change. Patrons requiring ADA access should call the Schimmel Center Box Office in advance for the latest details.
SECURITY
We greatly appreciate your cooperation with necessary security measures that ensure the safety of our audience, artists, and employees. All belongs are subject to inspection, and management reserves the right to limit access to the premises.
PHOTOGRAPHS / RECORDING DEVICES
The use of any recording device, either audio or video, and the taking of photographs, either with or without flash, is strictly prohibited. Please turn off all electronic devices such as cellular phones, beepers and watches. The use of cell phones in the theatre is prohibited by New York City law.
